iphone 16e with wired earphone has serious audio issues

I used wired earphone with my iPhone 16e to listen to audiobooks. No matter what app I use, be it Audible or Libby, the audio of the first letter or word of a sentence will be cut off. It's almost like the audio file has been corrupted. I deleted the file and re-downloaded it, it's still the same. Not just one audiobook, it's all the audiobooks.

When using apps like Audible or Libby, it’s possible that the first letter or even the first word of a sentence gets cut off in the audio playback. Did it ever occur to you to test this issue with a different pair of wired earphones or reach out to the manufacturer’s support? By the way, you haven’t mentioned the brand or model of your earphones, which could provide an important clue. Not all wired earphones are fully compatible with iOS devices, and certain models may cause exactly this type of behavior.

The app developer may not have updated their software to ensure compatibility with the iOS version your device is currently running.

If you encounter any challenges with third-party applications, the best course of action is to directly contact the app developer for further assistance. Here's a brief guide on how to do it:

  1. Identify the app developer.
  2. Visit their website or app store listing.
  3. Look for their contact information or support channels.
  4. Clearly describe the issue you are facing.
  5. Provide any necessary information they may need.
  6. Follow their instructions and provide feedback.
  7. Be patient and follow up if needed.

By reaching out to the app developer, you increase your chances of receiving accurate and personalized support for the challenges you're experiencing. To contact an App developer --> How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

Search for accessories that have completed MFi certification. Once an accessory has completed MFi certification requirements and is reported to Apple as sold/distributed, it will be searchable in our public database of authorized Lightning, headset, charging, iAP-enabled, and Find My network-enabled accessories.

The earphones are from Apple, which I bought at Apple store. There are other issues, too. I have learned to train myself not using the on and off button on the earphone because every time I use the button to stop the audiobook from playing. The error message (playback error) will pop up the next time when I press the button to play again. When that happens, nothing would work until I restart the phone.
