One of Macbook port hole got darken

Hi there i dont know but suddenly when i wanted to charge and saw that one of the charging port are dark around it, should i send it for checkup? I charged it and theres no abnormal heat or smell

This is my 4th month with this mac

Does this charger port on MacBook Air A1465 model look broken? Before I spend any money on a charger to see if this MacBook Air works as found in a skip, 100% thrown away. Wondered opinions on whether it is worth going back to rubbish or possible refurb?

Macbook Air Charge Cable has yellow spots. My cable has yellow spots. One near the connector and three more going up the cable. I am a retired aviation mechanic and know that sometimes this can be an indication of overheating. My cable remains on an end table where I keep my computer. I don't let items lay on top of it. Some state that it is just cosmetic while others here state overheating. I would like to know what Apple has to say about it.

If you are concerned and want a professional inspection (free of charge), then you’ll need to ⇢ Start a Service Request.

NOTE:

Four months is within the standard warranty period. 👍🏼
