MacBook Pro won’t power on

I’ve tried, a different charger, a different charging port, charging cycle, resetting the PRAM/NVRAM, resetting the SMC, etc.. And before you ask, I tried charging it all day, yes the charger is fine, yes the ports are fine, no I didn’t spill anything on it, no it wasn’t dropped, no there’s no extraneous metal in it…. Idk what’s wrong w it. It was working fine last week.

Been there, done that. About 2 months ago lost a 2018 Intel 13" MBP like that. Working just fine, closed the lid to put it to sleep for the day, never woke up again. Tried everything short of a DFU reset. Ended up at a local Level 2 repair center which couldn't do anything either in spite their much more powerful resources. What they did manage to do (at a cost) is talk to the mostly dead logic board's storage and retrieve the contents, which they handed over in an encrypted external drive. Something to consider if you don't have a current backup and the stuff inside is worth it: note it can only be done once.

After that, did a full DFU Reset twice to ensure the data was gone for good and junked the thing.
