I wanted to remove an alias email from one apple account and associate it with another. I've lost access to the alias account altogether now... How to I recover access to this email? I'm not receiving emails to this account so I can not reset or add it to the correct apple account...

You cannot transfer an alias email from one Apple Account to another. Deleting an alias email is permanent and there is no recovery of that email address.
You can turn an email alias on or off at any time. You can also delete email aliases that you no longer want to use. Turning off an email alias is temporary; deleting it is permanent. When an alias is turned off or deleted, email sent to that alias is returned to the sender.
