AppleCare+ expires soon, can i get additional coverage for a replacement set of Airpods?

My AirPod Pro2 buds have failed to properly reset and connect to my phone. I have contacted Apple and they are sending me a replacement pair under my AppleCare+. My coverage for the original pair of AiPods expires in just a few weeks.

Will I be able to buy AppleCare+ for the replacement AirPods when they arrive?

Thanks in advance

The replacement AirPods will take over the existing coverage. You can then extend said coverage to the monthly Apple Care+ if you want to.
