Unless you've jailbroken your iPhone, it's not a virus.

If it happens again, I'd suggest you go to Settings>Notifications and go through the apps to see which ones have sound notifications enabled. We've seen reports in the past of games that do this. I would recommend that, with the exception of things like messages, you turn off sound notifications for everything and see if it happens again. If it doesn't, start turning them back on a few at a tile.

Try finding the Clock app and go to alarms. Maybe the alarm is there.
