Refund Request For Apple Balance


I was trying to add $85 to my Apple Cash to send someone, I ended up accidentally adding the money to my Apple balance. The agent helped me request the refund for this and now I’m waiting 2 days to hear from the request. Will this get refunded according to TN Law it will be

It has been seen many times here on this site where a user accidentally added money to the Apple Account instead of Apple Cash, and that by simply calling Apple, they could reverse the transaction. It made no difference if they were in TN or not.


The one prerequisite is that you have to still have that money in your Apple Account to reverse the charge. The only time I have seen where Apple did not reverse the charge is when money was spent in the Apple Account and the full amount could not be reversed.


You should have your answer on September 5th.

Uh, I have been on this site for about 20 years now and mostly on this forum and I had not seen that stated by anybody until you came along. I trust what you're saying but it is not a common statement here (except since you have been posting ;-) ) Others may have posted to contact Apple, but that's kind of a given addendum to pretty much any response posted here. No rationale was included as to why contacting Apple would be helpful, particularly since Apple clearly states that they will not issue balance refunds unless required to do so by law.
