Persistent bright/dark dot on my MacBook Air screen

Hi everyone,

I recently noticed a persistent bright/dark dot on my Apple device’s display. It doesn’t seem to change or move, and it’s visible all the time. I’m not sure if it’s a dead pixel, stuck pixel, or some other screen issue.

Has anyone experienced this before? Can it be fixed through software, or do I need a hardware repair or replacement? I’d appreciate any advice or guidance on how to handle this issue.

Thank you!

Hi,

It may be defect screen dot. You'd better take your MacBook Air to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your screen there before one year limited warranty is expired.
