Error connecting printer to MacBook Pro

My Macbook will not connect to my printer-it says because of an error.

unable to connect to any printer since recent update to Ventura 13.7.5 My printer shows up in "Add Printer", but I get a message "error occurred while trying to add the selected device. System Settings > Printers & Scanners, does the printer show in the list? If so, delete it with the (–) button then use the (+) button to re-add it.

If that fails, please provide the make/model of the printer.
