Should I use a VPN to avoid personalized airline pricing based on my browsing data?

now that airlines (like Delta) are using AI data to monetize pricing for individual users - one news article (on NPR) stated one way to prevent that would be to use a vpn - should I start using a vpn with my apple devices?

Pricing algorithms have been used here going back decades.


Use private browsing on iPhone via cellular, or via private relay.


So long as you don’t sign in, you’ll be comparatively difficult to distinguish from all the other same-model iPhones.


The “coffee shop” VPNs can quite possibly collect and resell your personally-identified browsing and purchasing activity, and to whoever wants to buy that data.
