How can I schedule power on and off on my iPhone 16?

There is no current feature on iPhone to schedule an iPhone to power on or off.

If you sent feedback that’s all you can do. There is NO option in iOS to do what you want. There are NO alternatives either. An iPhone cannot be set to power down or power up on a time schedule, period.

This is the RIGHT advice. Powering off the phone won't preserve the battery in any meaningful way. I NEVER power my phone off. My phone is iPhone 16 Pro Max, which I've owned since launch day and my battery health is 99%. My phone is plugged in to charge when I go to bed at night EVERY night with a sleep focus enable on a schedule. I wake to a phone charged to 100%, good for a full days use.

And the link with the discussion suggests this is a feature which had never existed. The second link takes you to user guides. So again, it's a feature which has NEVER existed on iPhone. And it doesn't today, so arguing about this will get you nothing.

Hello~ I will reiterate what our other knowledgeable members have stated… there is absolutely no way currently to do what you are asking for in iOS. What else can be said?

You would have to turn it back on manually, but you could create a shortcut to turn off your iPhone. Then set an automation for the shortcut. What are you trying to achieve?

There has never been a feature on iPhone which let you set a schedule to power on and off an iPhone. People often remember things which never were.

FWIW, unless Find My Network is turned off, it uses battery and isn't really off.

And some folk report here that their phones spontaneously turn on.

I believe that Mac OS X / macOS may once have supported scheduled power-up and power-down times on some Macs. (I think that I may once have seen controls for that on an old iMac.)

But that was a different operating system running on a different hardware platform.
