Resetting emoji keyboard on iPhone does not work

I want to reset the emoji keyboard, so that it basically does not show any recent emojis and stickers. I have tried everything. Settings -> General -> Reset Keyboard Dictionary = didn't work, even after a restart. I then removed the emoji keyboard, restarted the phone, and added it back in, same result. It is just absolutely frustrating.

Since it's stickers that I want to remove from the recently used emojis, spamming other random emojis does not work either, they still show up and I cannot get rid of them - it's driving me crazy.

Any help?
