Using shortcuts to create a note from an existing note. Formatting not inherited

Hello, I am trying to create a note using shortcuts. The new note is based on a note template that has formatting such as carriage returns, bold, underline, headings, etc.

I am able to create a note based on the template note in the right folder but none of the formatting is inherited. I've tried using actions such as RichText from HTML and RichText from Markdown but it does not seem to work

The Create Note action only works for pure text (not formatted text) from what I’ve gathered and tested.

I would suggest not using a shortcut but rather copying the note (long-press the note in the list view, choose Share Note and then Copy). Then create a new note and paste.
