Third-party conversation overheard on friend's iPhone without a call

I don’t understand how a person could hear a conversation I was having with a third party I was not on my phone and she said she did not call me

Original Title : my friend overheard a conversation i was having on her iphone but i did nit answer when her number came up and she says she did not call me how could that happen

Sounds like a classic case of gaslighting and someone is not being honest with you. There is no issue with your phone that resulted in eavesdropping. It is either the case of a person flat out lying to you or getting information from the third party. You did already catch the person in one lie about calling you, unless it was an inadvertent "butt dial".

It is plausible that when you initiated the call, your friend, whom you assert overheard your conversation with a third party, was physically present in the vicinity of the “third party.” If this were the case, the only alternative scenario where another individual could have overheard your conversation would be if it was inadvertently activated on speakerphone, verbally shared, or otherwise rendered audible within that specific environment. In all other instances, no third party should have gained access to the content of the conversation.
