How do I manually add lab results to Apple Health?

My provider isn't available for linking with Apple Health. Previous discussions are older and the suggestions don't work for my current iOS, 18.6.2.

Thank you Idris Seabright.

Re: It's not one of the categories specifically listed in the article to which you linked.

Try "Add Data" in the article that the quote came from:

"For iOS18 : Apple support's online article: Intro to Health data on iPhone - Apple Support

Eg: says:

(ie: scrolling down to: "Data that you add manually")"

Apologies if my post was not clear :-)

Re: "My provider isn't available for linking with Apple Health"

if you do not yet have a health profile set up: See: Use the Health app on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If you want to check whether or not downloads from your providert can be set-up:

In Apple Support's online article: Download health records on iPhone - Apple Support

Under the heading "Set up automatic health record downloads from your healthcare provider"

Eg: says:

"If your organization doesn’t appear in the list, enter the name of a clinic, hospital, or other place where you obtain health records. Or enter the name of a city, state, or province to find organizations near there. (more in article)

For iOS18 : Apple support's online article: Intro to Health data on iPhone - Apple Support

Eg: says:

(ie: scrolling down to: "Data that you add manually")

"Add your medications, vitamins, and supplements: By adding these items, you can get reminders to take them and learn more about them. See Track your medications in Health.

Add information to a Medical ID: You can provide information about your medical conditions, medications,

emergency contacts, and more in an emergency Medical ID. First responders and others can view this critical information directly on your iPhone, even while it’s locked. See Set up and view your Medical ID.

Add information to other Health categories:

Tap Browse at the bottom right of Health, tap a category, tap for the data you want to update, then tap Add Data at the top right."

You might want to try restarting your iPhone (deletes temporary files, re-establishes connections, may update any setting changes etc. you have made, and often restores order if something is not working as expected.)

Else: If you still can not "Add Data" as outlined in Apple Support's article:

you may want to send feedback to reach those who work on the software behind-the-scenes at Apple. Although it won't help immediately, your feedback will be carefully read and logged, and if others experience similar issues we may see an update that addresses the issue. The more feedback Apple receives on which hardware models and software versions are affected, the more likely we will see an update.

My apologies but your post still doesn't answer my question. Have you been able to find an Add Data option in Lab Results on your iPhone?
