Auto Brightness issue in iPhone 16 Plus after updating to 18.6.2

After updating my iPhone 16 Plus to 18.6.2 auto brightness is not working properly. When I was in a room with no lights turned on, and it was completely dark, I noticed that the brightness didn’t go to zero. I tried turning off Auto brightness and then turning it back on, which reduced the brightness to zero. However, the next day when I was in my room, the brightness didn’t go down to zero.

I tried manually recalibrating auto brightness , then it worked fine but the issue persisted again next day . I also tried force restarting it. It works for a while or even a day, but then it would be back. I even performed diagnostics, and my phone’s ambient light sensor is working fine. I’ve tried various solutions, but the issue isn’t resolved. However, the phone adjusts properly in daylight conditions, and it almost adjusts properly when lights were on at night. This didn’t happen before 18.6.2 update.

Is this a bug? Has anyone else encountered this issue? Please help me resolve it.
