Why doesn’t my iPhone 16 have a voicemail selection in the phone app

I wanted to recall a deleted voicemail but when I go to settings/apps/phone there is no voicemail selection. Only live voicemail on/off.

iPhone 11, iOS 18

What you see in settings is correct. Depending on when you deleted the voicemail, you open the Phone App on your iPhone. Tap Voicemail on the bottom right and then scan all the way down to the bottom of the page with your voicemails and tap Deleted Messages. Find the message, tap on it and tap to restore it. If it's no longer there (they don't stay there forever), you can contact your carrier to see if the message is still on their servers as voicemail is actually stored on your carriers side.
