Unable to trade in iPhone 16e for iPhone 17 upgrade

I bought iPhone 16e few months ago. I'd like to upgrade to iPhone 17. However, Apple doesn't have an option to trade in iPhone 16e. What should I do now? I paid a good amount of money to the 16e and don't want to loose its value for recycling. Thank you!

Why cant I trade my NEW iphone 16e?? Whats the difference between the iphone 16 and 16e?? Last month my mother got me a new iPhone 16e and trust me it’s a really nice phone but I don’t want it. All the other 16 products are able to be traded. It doesn’t have the new island bar for whatever reason😐, and no 0.5. How come I can’t trade it there is no logical reason why sell the phone but not take it back in??

Go to a physical Apple Store and ask, or sell it to someone else.
