Maximum wattage for safe and faster charging on iPhone 16e

The tech specs say:

‘Up to 50% charge in 30 minutes with 20W adapter or higher (available separately) paired with USB‑C charging cable’

Does anyone know the maximum wattage adapter that can be safely used? I have a 45W one from another device and was wondering if it’s safe for my phone, and whether it would charge it any faster?

Fine to use the 45W adapter or higher. The iPhone will automatically draw only the current that it needs.

In other words, you can use a higher wattage adapter if you want, but it won't charge the phone any faster than the 20W adapter.
