I can't get iCloud drive to sync. I add a file on one device and it doesn't show up on any of the other devices.
How do I tell iCloud drive to go and look for new files?

Does the added file show up in iCloud Drive at iCloud.com?
If a change occurs when a device is off, then it may not see it when it wakes up. A little nudge can help, like adding a little file to iCloud Drive and then deleting it, or just clicking on files in iCloud Drive has seemed to work for me. Shaking the computer doesn't seem to work, though.

If syncing is paused, you can resume syncing
by going to your Apple ID icon at the upper right. (My phone won't pause long enough for me to get a picture…)
