in past i had used i phone 6s. its number lock which i remember was not accepted by phone. now it shows as iPhone Unabailable. what should i do ?

i switch from 6s to 10X
10x to iPhone 11pro
11pro to 16 pro
currently using 11 pro & 16Pro with same Apple ID.
As it is worth a few dollars and will not nun many apps I would recycle it. having a different Apple account registered will make it impossible to restore
