Can I use an Hermes face with a new Apple Watch Series 11 by purchasing an Hermes watchband?

I am unclear if I can use an Hermes face with the Series 11 new Apple Watch if I purchase a new Hermes watchband? Each year has different rules so I need what is currently the decision. What I mean is does purchasing a Hermes watchband allow me to use a Hermes face?

The short answer is: No, buying a Hermès band alone does not unlock the Hermès-exclusive watch faces on a regular (non-Hermès) Apple Watch — at least, AFAIK, as of Apple Watch Series 11 / watchOS 26.

doubt it, there is no active connection between a watch and it's band so your watch would have no "idea" if you have a band or just glued it to your wrist.
