iPhone 17 Pro Max 1TB: At what settings (ProRes RAW, Log 2) are external SSDs still required for video recording?

I'm a professional videographer interested in the new iPhone 17 Pro Max with 1TB of storage. Since even the highest tier models have historically required external drives for formats like ProRes at 4K 60fps, I am wondering what the exact limitations are for internal recording with the new model.

Could anyone clarify at which resolution, frame rate, and compression (e.g., ProRes RAW HQ, Apple Log 2) an external drive becomes mandatory? What is the maximum spec for internal recording with these professional codecs?
