Safari and Chrome search bars redirecting to different websites on iPhone

My safari and Google Chrome seem to be hacked in my search bars. I have tried clearing the cache and resetting settings. My default browser is set to chrome, however when I go to search things in the search bar it will jump to a different website browser like search baron which won't even load, yahoo, or even ask.com. I tried communicating with an apple support through text a few months ago, and they said to contact chrome however they do not have actual stores and this is also happening in safari.
