I bought these second hand from a resale platform (not privat) but I cant seem to connect them to find my. I tried reconnecting the airpods again and turning off and on the iphone again - but it didnt work. Any ideas? Or is an apple tag for the case the only option? Thanks!

I actually got it wrong, its AirPod 2 obviously, got them gifted so i didnt pay too much attention to which model it is.. Do you have any idea on how to link it to find my?
