Checking blocked messages on iPhone after unblocking contacts

I’m just wondering what happens to the blocked messages after people send them. Sometimes I don’t feel like arguing so I’ll just block people let everything settle and then unblock them. I want the conversation to be done. But then again, I never really know if they sent anything.🤦🏻‍♀️

Original Title: Android users have a box where all text messages that are blocked go. Does iPhone have a similar feature where I can check to see if I’ve gotten messages from people I blocked.

If you just don't want to deal with someone for a while, mute them, don't block them. If you block them, you won't get the messages.

To mute a conversation, go to the main conversation screen in Messages. Put your finger on the conversation you want to mute and pull it to the left. Tap on the purple bell icon.

Or, just ignore them until you want to talk to them again. There is no rule that if someone texts you, you have to read it or if you read it, you have to answer.
