Apple Watch SE II with GPS & cellular what setting needed for emergency alerts if I fall?

If I leave my iPhone SE 2000 home, and I'm out walking, my watch is supposed to alert SOS if I fall. Is there specific settings I must turn on to assure SOS will alert emergency help?
