how can I share photos smart albums with others?

I have a smart album where I collect photos that I want to share with my family. I saw that in shared albums I cannot create a smart album. So right now I'm copying manually, from time to time a smart album (not a shared one) into a shared one.

it's not really efficient. Is there a better way?

thanks

No.

Shared albums don't contained pictures from your Library-- it makes copies that are generally more appropriate for sharing, with lower resolution and less identifying metadata. So a Shared Smart Album would have to be continuously dynamic, ready to copy or delete pictures on the fly. It's just not feasible.

Also, Smart Albums aren't available in iOS or iPadOS.

If ypu need to give them the fulll sized images instead of the medium file sized photos

"Shared albums reduce the photos to a maximum of 2048 pixels on the long edge, though panoramic photos can be up to 5400 pixels wide. Videos are compressed to a maximum of 720p resolution."

you can get 100 GB, 250 GB or 500 GB flash drives, put the full sized photos on them and give the flash drives to each family.
