When opening a contact card through the Messages app, the three options for Info, Background and Photos is visible but nothing for Documents or Links. I’m currently running iOS 26 on iPhone 15. Any help would be appreciated!

Seems you only see the options for Links and Documents after you click on the contact or group icon at the top of a conversation ?
And ... 5 "If a category doesn’t appear, you didn’t receive anything of that type in this conversation."

You might want to send feedback to Apple. All feedback is carefully read and logged, and if others have a similar issue we may see an update that addresses it.
The more feedback Apple receives on which device models and OS versions are affected, the more likely we will see an update.

I was only able to find my links and documents when I went to the search bar but I wish they kept them under each message thread.

Okay, looks like I may have found a somewhat solution. If you backup on iCloud, you can go to the info section of your contact card and tap on Downloaf attachments in iCloud. That and with a little bit of internal / backend indexing work should do the trick. Might take some time depending on the number of attachments but you should see the links and document section pop up
Same issue. I can’t see anything other than info and background in my texts but the other person who is on ios26 can see everything still like normal (links, photos, etc.) hope they fix soon it’s annoying.
Seems iPhone was busily re-indexing, and completing this major iOS update process in the background, while we still had access to our devices.(Not everyone has the same amount of memory / storage space freely available.)
Same, it appeared after I sent a link but only links and documents sent after the update show up, hope it gets fixed soon.
Same problem for me. Super irritating to not have access to the links sent before the update
UPDATE
Not sure if it’s this way for everyone, but about 30 hours after the update I was able to see all links and documents, not sure if they fixed it or if it just had to work itself out
In ios 26, I cannot figure out how to attach files to my messages! It used to be so straightforward in the previous ios!
I’m having the same issue as well, and the last message was literally a video. I need that photo category but idk how to get it!
I can not search for links in messages after I updated to 26.1. I can only slide to info / backgrounds / photos, no links. How do I get that as a choice?
