Depending on how far you want to go, there are some other things to try. You can try resetting your settings. Settings>General>Transfer or Reset iPhone>Reset>Reset>All Settings. It will be annoying to redo everything but, if the call issue is serious, it may be worth a try. Another thing to try. Back up your phone. Restore it to factory settings using a computer. This installs a fresh copy of iOS. Then restore the back up.

Or, you can wait for 26.4.

I found a solution that worked for me. Based on this YouTube video, the Call Screening feature may appear or not depending on the region set on your device.

Just noting: this is not an official Apple method, but it shows how region settings can affect which features appear.

I turned off iOS 26 on my iPhone 13. Go to settings. Scroll to the bottom and click apps. Scroll down and click on Phone. Scroll down to call screening. Click on Never.

Try turning off the "Spam" option.

Go to Settings>Apps>Phone>Call Blocking & Identification. Do you have any Call Identification apps listed? If so, turn the app off or delete it.

i'm using iphone 14 base model but it seems that the screen unknown callers are not in the phone settings. i accidentally tapped agreed when i saw the notif in the phone. but when i wanted to disable this, it is not there.

"Phone" is an app on your iPhone.

For the future, try using the search bar in Settings. I find using it a lot faster than poking through things.

Yes, there is a way to turn it off. First off you must go in to your apps and select "phone". Then, Settings > Apps > Phone > (scroll down about 2 screens) Screen Unknown Callers [Never | Ask Reason | Silence.

Check off Never and it will disable that.

I use my phone for work and often get calls from unknown numbers that I need to be able to answer calls. Your steps were simple to follow and I am now receiving the calls instead of them being “screened.”
