Call screening feature not working ios26 and ios26.0.1 both in Iphone 16 pro max

Hi, I’m using iPhone 16 pro max with IOS 26 (26.0)and currently updated it to IOS 26.0.1 and enabled the call screening. I updated it to IOS 26.0.1 in order to resolve this issue as call screening was also not working in IOS 26 update also.

but, I’m still receiving calls without filtering strange numbers, basically. The feature doesn’t ask who are calling and show in the screen to I decide if I will answer that call.

my phone language is English and region is India.

anyone know if need to do something more that enable the feature? Someone with the same problem?

Hi everyone now i am finally able to use this call screening feature. So I talked with apple support and senior advisor took my iPhone on screen share and one major default they found is that one vpn was added in my phone although that vpn was not active but added in my phone by ME but i forgot about that. And one thing which i also found that call screening feature will not work in battery low power mode so you have to turn it off.
