How can I update my iPhone 13 Pro Max to iOS 18.7 without risking damage?

Hi, please could someone give me advice on updating my ios. I have an iphone 13PM and updated it a while back my screen went completely green. Now you can imagine the cost of getting a new screen as my warranty expired. I really want to update to 18.7 but honestly cant afford any glitches. An to make matters worse Fiji doesnt have a legitimate iPhone repair shop. Please help. Thank you

If you are saying that you.....cant afford any glitches.....and to make matters worse Fiji doesnt have a legitimate iPhone repair shop.....you are really telling us that it would be a mistake to risk updating your iPhone.

There is risk with any update. No one can change that.

Fixing a Boot Loop:

Your iPhone can at times be stuck in a Boot Loop. This typically occurs when you go abuut installing an update, and it stalled while in the process. Use my User Tip: How to Fix an iPhone in a Boot Loop - User Tip

Thanks Bob! Very constructive - have you had the same issue with glitches? I really am considering to update just need positive feedback that apple has fixed the issue with iphone13pm or not as my research has not clearly stated otherwise. Thank you
