Sure shut down and restart more than once is always advised in an effort to sort glitches after a major upgrade— there is a lot of code that needs to be settled into place.

You can try changing the Audio MIDI Setup.app settings, make changing the frequency and compare your results.

Hi Folks!

I’m experiencing recurring audio glitches on my MacBook Air after updating to macOS Tahoe. The issue affects Apple Music, Spotify, as well as audio during Teams and WhatsApp calls. Restarting the computer does not resolve the problem.

Come on, Apple, this is very annoying. You guys cannot make updates anymore without breaking everything? The sound now is terrible, and no words about how to fix or when it is going to be fixed. Support from Apple only by scheduled appointment, no chat, nothing.
