That's normal after a major update. There are a number of indexing and housekeeping tasks going on in the background. It usually takes a day or two for battery to go back to normal. But it will.

Facebook/Meta needs to update the app to work with the new version of iOS. They've had lot of issues over the last year or so keeping their iOS and iPadOS software working. So, it may be a few days. Make sure you have the most up-to-date version.

Yes theres a lot of bugs. I think its because its still processing stuff in the background. Hopefully it fixes itself in a few days or with a new ios update
