Potential issues with iOS 26 update

iOS 26. It listens to my streaming services and sometimes it obeys commands of the actors. For example when someone said search for a new CEO a drop-down menu appeared in front of the screen and it searched for a CEO.

Words like "Serious", "Shirley", "Cereal", or other ones similar to Siri will activate it on your device. You can reduce that chance by changing your activation word to "Hey Siri". That is not specific to iOS 26 and it has always been that way. When you set up iOS 26, you may have changed the activation word to Siri if you previously used Hey Siri. The same thing happens to Amazon Alexa users whenever it hears a word like "Alexis". It wreaks havoc for families with someone named Alexis.

I'm in the same situation as your self. Personally I don't think it's the IOS update.

I have looked into my system and it appears that im running 13.1 on a 12 mini.

You are you paying any attention to the gibberish in analytics......are you?

You need special Apple software to be able to even decode and read the raw data in analytics....and....special training to be able to interpret the results.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and this is the worst update to ever come out by Apple. My voicemail page keeps blinking on and off and impossible to listen to them and my group contact I use for emails won't let me edit by not allowing me to copy and paste. It's the same with Tahoe os. The finder on my home page is just a jumbled mess when I use stacks. Don't they test these things before they release it???

How do delete iso 26 and block it forever !!! Apple you guys are discouraging customers not attracting !

i use my phone for business unrelated to social media influencers !! iso 26 is made for playing with not work !!

Have you updated to iOS 26.1 and adjusted the new Liquid Glass slider? You can find the new adjustment at this path,

iphone > Settings > Display & Brightness > Liquid Glass > Tinted

I updated an iPhone 13 mini to ios 26.1 and lost reliable wifi in any location. Also had a hearing device (Phonak sound processor for a cochlear implant) that would pair, connect once and drop as soon as the device was put on my head and thus restore hearing. The only recourse was to delete the pairing and try again. Same result. Shutting down after deletion, same result.

everything is so slow and i can’t click on links because they don’t do anything usually or go to a white

screen with a thinking wheel. things are always timing out and the thinking wheel never actually stops thinking…

When typing in apps I can’t see what I’m typing! The keyboard often takes over half of the screen and there is no possibility to make it disappear. Part of what I have to type is then BEHIND the keyboard and not visible. This is a general problem and happens with several apps.

The last app I used where it happened was the Watch, when I tried to type the password for unpairing my watch from the phone.

I just want to downgrade the IOS! The previous one was so much better in many ways!

It's not necessary to cuss. And we people here are users only, like you. You aren't cussing anyone at Apple, so be a little less angry and confrontational.

I HATE this new update! It has made my phone complicated and even just closing a search is a pain!

issues with photos not showing up. Poor sharing with my ipad.

The vast majority of the millions upon millions upon millions of users who are on iOS 26 aren't here, because they're not having issues with iOS 26. I certainly don't have any issues.

Indeed we do. And my opinion is iOS 26 didn't cause any camera issues for me or anyone I know. I'm sorry it did for you, if it really was caused by iOS 26.
