iOS 26. It listens to my streaming services and sometimes it obeys commands of the actors. For example when someone said search for a new CEO a drop-down menu appeared in front of the screen and it searched for a CEO.

If your content has anything that sounds like “Siri” it will listen to audible content, then try to do a search. As a first step go to Settings/Apple Intelligence & Siri and change the voice prompt to “Hey, Siri”, or turn it off completely and use the side button to invoke Siri.

Jeff you and your family must be lucky not sure what models you all have but there are to many confirmed cases that the update caused the issue. I proved to Apple at the store the issue is only related to the update. You are not seeing many of my responses since apple is removing them. They send me a email saying it was removed.
Apple does monitor this forum because they removed many of my posts that they say are not constructive. Meaning we don't want the truth put in writing. I have escalated it and they will never admit the issue. They will just quietly wait for the update to fix the problem or the govt to force them to fix it.

You should read the Terms of Use for using this forum, which you actually agreed to in order to join the forum. Discussing or criticizing moderation is a violation. And no, Apple isn't reading your posts. Moderators, whose only job is to read posts to ensure posts are not violating the TOU, read your posts. That is most definitely not the Apple you hope would be reading your posts. The simple fact is Apple isn't here. But you are in Apple's house, so you need to follow their rules.

It doesn't matter how many threads you post in. Most people out there are NOT having issues with the cameras on their phones. I get that you do, but it's not a universal issue, so you need to figure out why YOU are having an issue. Expecting Apple to roll out an update which will fix this for you is going to likely be a disappointing wait.
