I have the same issue in iPhone 15, after a restart this happens. It is not consistent though, sometimes sounds go away, sometimes it is fine.

I have been locking my phone after a restart to check if the lock sound is working if not I'm flipping the silent switch on and off.

Also if you have noticed, when the sound doesn't work and you turn the phone to silent using the switch, the dynamic island animation also doesn't show. Once the sound comes back, the animation also starts to work normally.

Contact Apple support for help with the problem with your iPhone, that is not a problem with hundreds of millions of other iPhones, because if it was it would be big news.

Those sound like they could possibly be hardware issues. Contact Apple and arrange to have them evaluate your phone.

You don't say what iPhone model you own? What you describe could be symptomatic of other issues. You could be low in memory, which can cause issues like slowness or touch issues. Your battery could be in need of being replaced, which also can cause major issues on an iPhone.

• Open Settings > General > iPhone Storage - How much memory is available?
• Open Settings > Battery > Battery Health - What is shown there? If you are at or below 80%, your battery is failing and needs to be replaced at your Apple Store Genius Bar.

Problems are common with most VPN use. It makes no difference if they are on or off, they need to be removed. You can still experience network problems with it turned off, so remove it and test again.

Also, you should update to iOS 26.2.

Asking a question like that here on a support forum is like walking into the Emergency Room at the hospital and ask if anyone is sick.

No one would come here if everything is fine. While some people are experiencing some problems, given the number of devices updating to iOS 26, it is a small percentage. I've not experienced any problems with my iPhone 16 Pro Max, or my iPad Pro 11.

Here's a potential issue: You won't like the way Liquid Glass looks. That seems to be the big gripe.

If you're change-averse, wait a week or more and keep reading the forums. You'll learn a lot about what people like and don't like.

Remember, a lot of things are preferences, not bugs.

I updated my iPad Pro 11 M2 to iOS 26 without issues as well. I always do a Force Restart after doing a major iOS update and my only issue has been at times the Calendar when opened when Week is selected, it will still appear as Month. It seems to have corrected itself today, so no issues.

Updated the new iOS on my iPhone last week. I’ve been having issues on social media platforms like Facebook- scrolling on my friend’s/ family’s pictures does not allow me to scroll all the way down- it’s choppy. Also whenever I use FaceTime, I automatically get my call ended. Very weird and I asked if my friends/ family ended the call and they said no. I did update on my iPad and experienced the same things such as scrolling through pictures.

Anyone else have the same problem??? It could be from Facebook too or other social media platforms have been affected. I hope they are able to fix these things asap.

Mine is doing the same but with messaging an FaceTime. I click to text and it’s frozen, won’t do anything. Same with FaceTime, won’t work. I’ve hard restarted multiple times and have to continue doing until it works. I don’t know what’s wrong or what to to 😑

iPhone13 ringer is muted for notifications. I’ve checked all that I know about to see if it’s muted somehow. There is nothing in settings that shows muted. The red bell with a slash through it shows when I press the volume up or down button. Calls ring ok but messages and notifications only vibrate.

I updated to iOS 26 on Friday. Now my iMessages brings up a blank, white screen. I can’t get into my texts. My phone app goes in and out. I can’t receive calls or call out. Went to my wireless carrier & they told me that it was an Apple issue. I was able to chat with Apple on my computer & they couldn’t do anything. Said I would have to take it to an Apple Store. Going to do that today. Very frustrating. My phone is close to being paid off & was working fine.

Just updated to iOS26 yesterday night. When I’m on the home screen and I try to swipe through the windows, it just randomly restarts. Sometimes it doesn’t restart completely, sometimes it completely shuts down. Basically I can’t look for apps manually because of this but only by writing them on the search bar. Please fix this.

I updated to iOS26 on my iPhone 16 Pro. Now l cannot make outgoing calls using sim card. i have reset my phone and restarted a number of times still no change. i have approached my network provider still cannot resolve the problem

I updated my business iPads. We use an MDM and use Kiosk mode. Upon restart, the device is fine. After it auto locks, it cannot be opened without restarting again. Anyone have a solution for this? I'm working on talking with Apple Support about it as well. When it is in the "locked" state, and I try to swipe up then I see a brief message about notifications. Very odd.
