My iPhone is not getting cell service after iOS 26 update

I recently updated my iPhone to iOS 26 and since then my cellular data is not showing at the top nor does it work at all. And I can’t make any calls. The calls immediately fail even though there is cell service showing from my carrier. I have restarted so may times and reset the network settings, removed and inserted the sim, go airplane mode and still NOTHINGGG. Any help?

Did you also check for carrier settings updates?

Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Also contact your carrier and have a look at the general troubleshooting:

If you see SOS, No Service, or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Just spent 5 hours on the phone with Verizon with same problem after Apple 26.0 IOS install. Not a Verizon problem and literally nothing Apple can do either. Not sure what to do about my kids phone.
