Maybe I should have waited... In iOS 26 using Safari, I'm unable to move tabs (reorder, drag & drop). When I try to move a tab, the whole tab bar moves and the program scrunches up. Am I missing something, or what's going on? Google AI says it's a known problem in 26. True? (When it comes to OS's, I find Google's AI often wrong)

I found the answer. Over the years, I use a rubber ended stylus. Previously, it didn't take a lot of pressure to drag and drop tabs. With iOS 26, it takes a lot of pressure and holding for a moment, before moving.

Same for me on iPhone 12 Pro Max. Long touch then move but the tab image disappears and the other tabs rearrange as I move around the screen but when I let go nothing changes- no tab rearranging.
What worked for me was turning off my phone for like an hour, and when I turned it on problem was fixed

I'm having the same problem in Safari, but also noticed it in the Reminders app.

Safari Tabs can’t be repositioned on my iPhone 12 Pro
It seems that others are finding the problem continues on an iPhone. My solution was on an iPad Mini 5.
Ts pmo too because I can’t find any solution, and Ios 26 is already causing so much lag and problems I wish I never updated it bro.
Just updated to iOS 26.1 on my iPhone 12 and it seemed to fix this problem for me.
