Restore Launchpad or provide option alongside Apps Library in macOS Tahoe

With macOS Tahoe, Launchpad has been replaced by the new Apps Library. While Apps Library might be useful for some, for me it creates serious difficulties.

I live with ADHD, and the stability of Launchpad was extremely important for my daily usage. The fixed grid, consistent app positions, and the ability to create my own folders supported my visual memory and helped me focus. I did not have to think my hands and eyes knew exactly where each app was.

Apps Library, on the other hand, feels confusing. Its dynamic and constantly changing categories force me to search again and again. Instead of supporting my focus, it increases cognitive load and makes me lose time. What was once a simple, predictable system is now an obstacle.

For users like me, Launchpad was more than just a feature. It functioned as an accessibility tool providing order, predictability, and efficiency for a neurodivergent brain.

I kindly ask Apple to consider bringing Launchpad back as an option, or at least allow users to choose between Launchpad and Apps Library. This flexibility would respect different needs and maintain Apple’s strong commitment to accessibility and inclusivity.

Apple doesn't read here in this user-to-user forum for feedback or suggestions. You can, however, let them know your thoughts here:

Meanwhile, some people have said that AppGrid Launcher (available in the App Store) reasonably replicates the Launch Pad interface.

Guyz. I’m really glad to see that I’m not alone and that so many of you feel the same way. 💬 It honestly means a lot to know others also care about this change.

Let’s make our voices heard! 🗣️

Please take a moment to send this request as a Product Feedback using the link that IdrisSeabright kindly shared here.

The more of us speak up, the more likely Apple will listen. 🙌

Thanks again for the support you’re awesome!

why can't apple provide a free workable app for users to have launchpad back? I don't see why I should have to purchase or use a new, not proven app. I have read about launchie, app hub and appgrid launcher. Are there others? Maybe with time, but they should be free thru apple with developer being paid by apple.

I am lost, dead in the water searching for my apps thru a sea of disorganization (to me).
