Hi just got Iphone pro 17 and there red pixels moving around the screen mostly it is visible on photos and camera, is this some type of feature or phone damage?

Hi, I went to the Apple Store and the technician ran the diagnosis and said the hardware of the phone was all good. It was probably a bug from the transference between my old phone and the new one. She did say she had not seen something like this before though, but re-setting the software should do it (I had to do it at the store though). I ended up returning the phone and getting a new one.

If you read the thread, you need to do as TheLittles recommended and that is to contact Apple Support. If you have an Apple Store close by, make a Genius Bar appointment to have the device examined by Apple. This is definitely not normal. Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple
Yes, read the thread. If that’s inconvenient, please have Apple perform diagnostics on your iPhone. It can be done in person at an Apple Retail Store or at an Apple Authorized Service Provider. You can also contact Apple Support and request remote diagnostics.

Having the same issue. Mostly shows up when im viewing the settings or just looking at the home screen. I’ve found out that it somewhat correlates on how my phone is tilted. If its held flat the red marks show up, but tilting my phone at a certain angle makes it go away.
Mine too! I wonder if it’s the iOS 26 or the new iphone 17 pro that has this issue. A photo taken from my photos app. I’m very upset. Booked in to have it checked out later this week.

I am having the same issue with my brand new iPhone 17 pro. Straight out of the box it did this same thing - moving red streaks and color distortion. Restarted it multiple times with no changes.

I also ran into this issue, 2nd day out of the box and now it just flashes in and out when it wants to happen. I notice it gets worse when watching videos, or i’m just paying more attention to it then.

For me the problem is gone now dont know how it just disappeared after 1 hour of use. Hopefully it will never come back.
