Clicking Haptic Engine iPhone 17 Pro

Hello everyone,

I just got my iPhone 17 Pro and overall I’m really happy with it. However, I’ve noticed something odd: whenever I open the Camera app (or long-press the Camera icon from the lock screen), the haptic engine occasionally makes a loud clicking sound. It doesn’t happen every time, it’s intermittent but only in those specific cases.

Apple already ran diagnostics on the device and everything came back fine.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

iPad Air M3 makes random clicking sound I’ve got an iPad air m3 a month ago and I immediately noticed it randomly makes a "clicking" sound when I use it. After 2 weeks I went to an authorized service point and left it there for further investigation and after another 2 weeks (yesterday) they gave it back and said the tests they’d run didn’t confirm such problem occurs. I managed to record it yesterday (I didn’t have the video when I went to the service point because, as I said, it happens randomly). Haptics Issue iPhone 14 Pro Max (16.5.1): For the past couple of weeks the haptics are intermittent. They will suddenly stop working and then randomly start working again. There’s no discernible pattern (time of day, mute vs. unmute). Sometimes, but not always, powering off/on resolves the issue but sometimes not. It’s really annoying and I’m hopeful someone can help. Thanks!

Haptics when pushing volume side buttons since ios17.2 update I updated my iPhone 12 Pro to iOS 17.2 tonight and suddenly when I push the side buttons to adjust the volume my phone vibrates 4 times very fast, like it’s activated a haptic now. The weird thing is it’s not constant. It vibrates when I push it once but not if I push it repeatedly thereafter. It’s annoying and I can’t find anywhere to turn the feature off!
