Login problems upgrading to IPhone 17

I have tried to upgrade and my Telephone details and E-SIM have transferred over but when I try to log in to transfer data from the cloud I get an "Unknown Error" message, this message is instant and I don't think it has attempted to contact the server. User name and Password are correct and I changed the Password to be sure.


Any ideas please?

Found a way to do it on read it connect to your old mobiles Hotspot and then do your logging in that worked for me. if you hold down the power button on new iPhone change WIFI selection then good to go.

Apple Servers are likely on overdrive with millions of people upgrading to their new phone and currently, there is an issue with the App Store in some, but not all locations. You may need to wait a while and try again.
