is it true the airpods gets out activated from store already?

A local, unofficial store told me that the AirPods entered my country (Argentina) already activated upon purchase. This is very different from my vast experience with various devices over the years, where the Check Coverage only shows "activated" when actually activating them on the account when linking them. Please, if someone could clarify this, I'd be grateful.

The Check coverage website shows the state of the warranty. It has nothing to do with activation of devices whatsoever.

If you are referring to the 1 year warranty, it starts when they are sold by Apple or an authorized reseller. If you re buying from a 3rd party seller in Argentina that is not an authorized reseller, then the warranty starts when they purchased it from Apple, not when you buy it from them.
