App downloads following setup of new iPhone

Hi I have a new iPhone 17 pro, i set it up by getting it to clone my old phone. Standard apps have downloaded and eSIM has been activated but all other apps just have the cloud download symbol next to them and are not downloading. When i tap on them i get a message “unable to install, please try again later”. So far I have checked iCloud storage and I have plenty of space. I have turned the phone off and on again and also signed out of my Apple account and then back in again.

Oh and yes the wifi connection is working and strong with 600Mb + download speed on testing.

Any suggestions?
