I am trying to download an iPhone-only app. The cloud icon appears, it starts to load, then stops every time. I signed out and back in, reset settings, restarted the phone, and tried different networks. The same app installs fine on another identical iPhone with the same iOS version. Why will it not download on my device?
· Open App Store
· Tap your profile picture
· Scroll down to see "Pending" or "Waiting" downloads
· If you see the app stuck there, swipe left on it and delete it from queue
· Try downloading fresh
Thanks, but this is not the issue in my case.
The app is not stuck in the Pending/Waiting queue.
It actually starts downloading for a second, then stops and goes back to the cloud icon.
There is nothing to swipe or remove from the download list.
This happens every time, and only on this device.
Same Apple ID, same iOS version, works fine on another identical iPhone.
So the problem is not a queued or stuck download.
