Unable to find my purchased Apple TV movies in Tahoe

Hi all,

Hopefully a simple issue for one of you. I've just updated to Tahoe on my Macbook M2 Pro.

I've just looked in the TV app and none of my purchases (116+ movies) are not showing up.

Any ideas where I cna find them please?

Can't find/access purchased movies/shows on https://tv.apple.com/ Normally I can look at my purchased content library on the Apple TV app, but when I login to the website through my computer browser to try and watch something it's nowhere to be found. The Library just seems missing entirely on the website. I can't even search for the missing content, none of the movies or shows I purchased show up. I contacted Apple support and chatted with someone who said I should be able to watch my purchased content online through a browser, but that I needed to pay for a subscription to Apple TV to do so. They say I don't need to have an active subscription to watch movies I've purchased if I watch through the app, but that I do need an active subscription to watch through a browser. Which sounds absurd. Does this Apple support person actually know what they're talking about, has this actually worked for someone else? They mostly seemed confused the majority of the time I was talking to them.

Purchased movies disappeared off Apple TV on MacBook I have had the Hobbit trilogy purchased on my Apple TV for about 3 years now and just the other day I downloaded 2 films out of the trilogy on my 2020 MacBook Pro. After seeing that they finished downloading I went to the "downloads" section on Apple TV and saw that they were there. About 5 minutes later, one of the movies was gone. I restarted the app and noticed that now both movies had disappeared not only out of the downloads section but also out of my purchased movie section. They were nowhere to be found. On my other Apple devices, the movies are still there on Apple TV, but now it's been about a week and the two movies are still missing from my MacBook. I have already tried going to my 'purchases' on Apple ID and found them there, but there was no option for me to redownload them... please help!

That would be where they should show up. I just checked on my Mac and purchases are there as expected. Make sure you've signed in with the same account used to make the purchases, check other devices using the account to verify if they show up there. You can also try logging out and back in. If the issue persists contact Apple support.
