iphone printer security warning not printing

Hi community I keep getting this message, I notice lots of people are having this issue with different printer models, I’ve tried various fixes but none are working. I have iPhone 15 pro max, iOS 18.6.2 - so far I’ve turned off router, printer and phone, in that sequence and put them all back on. Removed printer from network, re added it, forgot wifi on iPhone re set up both, but the problem persists. iPad is printing, as are our laptops and my partners android phone. I hit continue but doesn’t print at all. Please help I use my phone all the time to print things so frustrated that it’s not working

What Should You Do?

  • If you have made changes to the printer (e.g., reinstallation, changing the Wi-Fi password, IP change), you can safely press “Continue.”
  • If you have not made any changes to the printer and this message appeared unexpectedly:
  • Verify that the printer is indeed your device.
  • Check if there are any unknown or unfamiliar devices on your Wi-Fi network.
  • Until you are sure, it is safer to press “Cancel.”

Additional Security Steps

  • Remove the printer completely and add it again.
  • Check the printer firmware/software for updates.
  • Keep your Wi-Fi password strong.

Did this warning appear after you made a change to the printer, or did it appear without you doing anything?
