You really did not expect a point 0 (26.0) release of the operating system to be free of bugs or oversights did you?

Apple had a certain amount of time to get the introductory version of the operating system released and very likely has a long list of triaged fixes destined for several future operating system point updates. Just be patient or use the feedback mechanism offered elsewhere in these threads.

Here, when visiting websites with content wider than the browser window (for example, tables with many columns), horizontal scrolling bar does not show up on macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 (25A362).
I've tested on Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Safari, Atlas and Comet.

On what sites? Assuming you have System Settings > Appearance > Windows > Show scroll bars set to "Always", the horizontal scroll bar shows for me as long as the page is wide enough.

Firefox…

What I read here is, DON'T. So I will sit tight for a few more weeks or months, until this forum becomes more positive about Tahoe.

That never happens. The entire point of this forum is for people having issues to seek help.

Tahoe is perfectly fine. Make a back up. Male two. Upgrade. If there's a real issue for you, roll back with a back up. If not, go on with your life.

I have great respect for experts. In my own field, I am one myself. But with tech, I'm a 'late adopter'. I use an iPhone 13 mini, and a 2021 MBP 14" running Sonoma. I don't have time, interest or competence to debug - or frankly, to learn my way around - a new OS. When Apple sends me messages suggesting I upgrade the OS, I come here to see what people are saying. I'll upgrade when there's a security issue.

And then you’ll base your opinion on people who have some sort of conflicting software or are just whining because apple changed or removed a feature that they cannot possibly live without or they just don’t like the look of it.

This is a user to user tech-support forum. People don’t come here to tell you how great the new one is. On the contrary, they love to tell you how great the old one was. A year ago the same people would have told you how horrible Sequoia is and how great Sonoma was. It’s like shampoo instructions, “rinse, repeat.”

I Beg to disagree with you that people do similar complaining of issues from pervioius OS. The problems are when you are using features that help you expedite yourwork and those are no longer availabie and it is costing you more time. That cost you more money to run your business. Yes its great at times to have new features. But when features are removed and featrues are not working the way they should and cause you to spend more time doing a task is not good.

I agree I do not like the rounded corners. What apple needs to address is gray color lettering. Words are meant to be read so make them all black. Let the users decide what is important to read. Also the Federal Governement has clarity legability requirement that the backgound and letters have to be very distiguisable to read for those that have impared vision. Please be respectful of those with visual issues and quit using gray lettes.

How do these minor UI issues affect your ability to do your job?
