Large elongated time on iPhone 15 lock screen after iOS 26 update

iPhone 15 running iOS 26. The time on the lock screen is now huge and elongated. Every time I customize the lock screen to make the time display smaller on it (back to how it used to be), when I click “done”, the iPhone states that the adjustment is being saved. Then the large elongated time shows up on the screen again. I am using a custom wallpaper that automatically switches between several different landscapes. Never had an issue with this before, until after upgrading to iOS 26. Bug or just an issue due to custom wallpaper? I think it’s a bug since the size of the time displayed was not an issue with iOS 18.
